Official Grand Opening of the Bourns Family Youth Innovation Center in Riverside

The Bourns Family Youth Innovation Center is located at 9595 Miller Street in Riverside.

The City of Riverside Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department will be celebrating an official grand opening of an exciting youth center which will take place on Saturday, September 25 from noon to 3 p.m.  The Bourns Family Youth Innovation Center features programming for youth and specializes in the state-of-the-art innovate technologies with the intent of inspiring participants to explore in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). The center is located at 9595 Miller Street in Riverside.

Youth will have an opportunity to learn and explore music production, computer coding, film making, 3D printing, and digital photography.

Children have an opportunity to learn, play and engage.

Attendees who attend the grand opening will be treated to a variety of demonstrations, entertainment, program previews and light refreshments. Each guest will also be provided with a BOGO membership opportunity for center programming and will have a chance to meet with BFYIC instructors as well as partners that offer a variety of activities on-site.
